Guayota

Guayota is an intriguing indie adventure game developed by Team Delusion. Set on the mythical island of St. Brendan, the game takes players on a journey as Spanish explorers uncovering the dark secrets hidden beneath paradise. The game takes inspiration from the legends of the Canary Islands and Guanche mythology, mixing historical elements with fantasy. Gameplay revolves around puzzle solving and exploration, as players navigate ancient temples dedicated to forgotten gods. The main tool is a torch, with which you can use fire, light and lasers to overcome difficulties and solve mysteries.

The game has two different modes: Real World and Plane of Madness, in which players have to switch between realities in order to progress. As the story progresses, players are faced with increasingly complex puzzles and dangerous traps, with each temple offering unique mechanics and challenges. The emphasis on observation and problem solving combined with the rich mythological background makes the game interesting for adventure game lovers.
