Welcome to Planet E1d0r4d0 follows a young woman's search for meaning in a chaotic sector of the universe, combining interactive storytelling with bar management and side-scrolling hunting. In this unsettled cosmos, even theoretically infinite existences seem vulnerable to the inevitable fading of consciousness. Gamers control Louise, who arrives on the planet after receiving her sister's dying will, urging her to take over the Habitable Zone tavern, located deep in the mines.

Activity in Welcome to Planet E1d0r4d0! alternates between daytime forays into the necessary ingredients and nighttime management of the inherited tavern, where patrons can down a glass of the signature Golden Bi-ru or devour hearty portions of meat. Providing these ingredients involves ruthlessly hunting the creatures that inhabit the underground grottoes; Soul cloning technology makes death temporary, allowing gamers to experience it multiple times to see what it's like.

Louise tends to her establishment as night falls, serving treats to customers and searching for information about her sister's disappearance. Conversations with the establishment's clientele reveal their life paths and backstories. These conversations, coupled with plot fragments from echo-system devices and location features found on the map, help the player reconstruct the picture of what happened to her sister on Planet E1d0r4d0. This project uses black humor in its style of presentation.
