Escape is the goal in LABYRINTHOS The Depths Want You, a dark fantasy RPG adventure from Astronauts, published by Shiravune, set inside a labyrinth sunken to the bottom of the earth.

The way out leads up. Players ascend the Tower, a fathomless maze of corridors and chambers, and decide which path to explore next with a nod to roguelike structure.

Every corridor hides an encounter. Foes bar the way, residents offer conversation, traps snap shut, chests wait to be looted, and stranger events test every decision. Each trial overcome adds to the hero's power.

Battles run on skills and action points. After each victory, a short list offers the chance to learn or enhance a single skill. The choice is permanent enough to matter, and wise picks pay off floors later.

Exploration is also a struggle against hunger. Food is treasure inside the labyrinth, and a hero who fails to eat faces penalties in combat. Whatever can be collected should be collected.

The deepest danger is invisible. Chaos corrupts every corner of the maze, and even a small misstep can soil the soul. Once corruption reaches its limit, the run ends in a game over, so the Tower itself becomes an enemy to manage as carefully as any monster.

The story branches toward multiple endings, and New Game Plus lets each fresh descent carry the hero further. Every attempt brings the surface one step closer.

Roguelike pacing keeps each climb distinct. Paths shift, encounters reshuffle, and knowledge from a failed run becomes the map for the next attempt. The Tower does not change its nature, but the player does.

Between the hunger, the traps, and the creeping chaos, the climb rewards planning over bravado. The depths want you, and they are patient.
