COCORO is a sci fi visual novel from Frontwing, published by Frontwing USA and GOOD SMILE COMPANY, planned and penned by Asta Konno, the writer of ATRI: My Dear Moments. In a world broken by rampaging AI, an unforgettable summer begins for a boy who has lost his home and a humanoid girl who dreams of marriage.

The story stays deliberately focused. The plot centers on one heroine, and the game follows how the protagonist's relationship with her develops, scene by scene, summer day by summer day. There is no roster of routes competing for attention; the narrative commits to a single bond and gives it the whole runtime. Focus is the design.

The pedigree shows on every screen. Character design comes from Akio Watanabe, known for the Monogatari and Grisaia series, and the art carries that lineage in its expressions and silhouettes. The ending theme is sung by Hina Youmiya, the voice actress of Cocoro herself, closing the story in the voice that carried it. Presentation and writing pull in the same direction.

The setting gives the romance its weight. A world that has already survived its machines is not a backdrop; it is a condition. The premise does the lifting. Against it, two people with very different reasons to be alone find the same summer, and the story measures what a home can mean when one of you never had one and the other only dreams of it.
