The level of technology began to grow rapidly. Many types of work that people used to do were abolished, which forced the inhabitants of the Earth to seek new types of employment, improving their capabilities and efficiency through the use of exoskeletons. The Surge talks about a grim version of the future when the evolution of technology, society and environmental change led to the decline of human civilization. The Surge is a brutal hardcore role-playing game with innovative combat mechanics and an original character leveling system based on modular upgrades.
