Locked Up

Locked Up — is a horror game developed by Alexander Reshetnikov. The game recently received a page on Steam, which means that the full version of the game for review is already available here on this page. The release date is the second quarter of 2020. The game also previously had a demo version, which is a prequel to the main game and talks about the massacre in a certain house in 1987. From the newspapers it becomes clear that some kind of cult committed the murder. Suspects in the case are detained and interrogated. Psychological horror, which takes place in the same house. Once tragic events took place here, and the player will have to figure out the past of this place, as well as his own.

About This Game

The game resembles the infamous P.T. as in the short teaser of Hideo Kojima, the player needs to advance through a changing environment, bumping into new situations. The demo lasts 15 minutes and does not reveal all the cards for example, at the moment there is practically no plot component, while the full version assumes a non-linear narrative with many endings.

Once in one of these rooms, you will immediately feel the presence of evil spirits and will be locked up, and you will not be able to leave the room until you satisfy the desire of the spirits. And you can do this in only one way — to complete their task, which just the same will be essentially a regular puzzle. You will need to understand what they want from you, interact with objects from the environment, read notes and do much more before they let you go any further. Well, and no less important is the fact that here the atmosphere will keep you «hooked» all the time. The ever-changing environment, objects appearing in it, strange sounds, notes — all this creates an atmosphere in which you will always be anxious.
