Description
Against the Storm — Eremite Games is entering the Digital Dragons Indie Showcase to showcase its roguelite city planner Against the Storm. In parallel with the release of the demo, the first trailer of the gameplay will be released. Set in a world where the rain never stops, Against the Storm takes players on a roguelite city-building fantasy adventure. The city is inhabited by lizards, beavers and people. All of them are the last species to survive the harsh and merciless conditions of continuous rain. The players have one task to manage the various needs of the inhabitants of the city, while satisfying the queen.

About This Game
The main features of the full game will focus on the core of city building, which is enhanced with roguelite replay elements. There are three rainy seasons that force you to constantly change your strategy. All three city races have different needs and skill sets that the player will need to complete and use to be successful. As the city builds and grows, long-forgotten technologies can be discovered and introduced that will change the way the game is played.

Step-by-step setup process for RUNE

Mount the .iso file in a virtual drive — on Windows 10/11 double-clicking the image is enough.

Run the installer from the disc and install the game — the release is already cracked, so no manual file copying is required.

Use the desktop shortcut created by the installer to start the game.

If the game does not launch, copy the contents of the
RUNEfolder on the disc into the installed game folder and try again.

Update v1.9.6:Fixed a bug that caused too many years to be added to the Blightstorm Cycle after winning a Forsaken Town game. Fixed a bug that caused too many star ratings to appear in the Recipes Panel. Fixed a bug that caused resource requirements in the Small Stormforge Glade Event to not scale with difficulty. Fixed a bug that caused the same Abandoned Cache to be marked on the map when purchasing a second Surveying Equipment perk. Fixed a typo in the Larger Storage upgrade description in the Smoldering City (it claimed building storage increased by 5, while the actual increase is 2). Fixed a bug that caused the Spiced Ale perk to not stack correctly. Fixed a bug that caused the Work Break Timed Order to appear in games where the Tree Grazer was present. Update v1.9.3:New content and featuresAdded 2 new dangerous glade events. Lurker - A bizarre creature that dwells deep underground, in vast networks of water-filled caverns. On rare occasions, it finds its way to the surface, lurking in small reservoirs and preying on unsuspecting fishermen. Petrified Gargoyle - A weathered stone statue that feels strangely... alive. It seems to shift ever so slightly when no one is watching. Added one new forbidden glade event. Small Stormforge - This small ancient cornerstone forge seems to have been twisted by some malevolent force, now serving a much darker purpose. Added a new farm building - the Brineworks. Using the Brineworks, players can grow Salt and Insects on nearby farmfields. The Brineworks are unlocked after reaching level 15. Added special offers to traders. Traders will now offer one random perk or blueprint at a 50% discount. Special offers are unlocked via a new Smoldering City upgrade - Dim Square Level 13. Added a new Legendary Cornerstone. Friends of the Forest - Though Beavers are an industrious and technologically minded species, they share a unique bond with the forest. Beaver villagers do not increase Hostility.
