Crisis in the Kremlin The Cold War is a deep real-time strategy game in which you take control of the Soviet Union in its final but crucial years. Every step affects the global balance and the future of the world. Take control of the country during a period of internal unrest and international tension. Decide: suppress the opposition or listen to the people. Maintain the economy according to plan or open the market. History tells you one way but you are free to choose another. Build a foreign policy: befriend the socialists, interfere in proxy wars, contain the onslaught of the West or form alliances with former enemies. Explore alternative historical lines, where the USSR not only survived, but became even stronger.
