Master of Piece

Master of Piece is a tactical roguelike with deck-building elements, set on a grid-divided arena in a dark, Gothic medieval setting. Instead of traditional cards, the commander controls squads of mercenaries, represented by figures. Careful positioning of the units on the board is crucial to create effective combinations of their abilities. The sequence of actions during turn-based clashes is determined by each unit's speed. The outcome of the battle depends on one side being the first to destroy the enemy flag located at the opposite end of the board. The journey takes place through a fantasy world shrouded in mysterious fog. Movement across the global map is fraught with random events and encounters with enemies, including fanatics and cultists. Thoughtful planning in Master of Piece is essential for the survival of the expeditionary force.

Failure in an expedition does not mean final defeat; it merely returns the squad to the outpost to prepare for a new expedition. Accumulated resources allow the construction of structures that provide permanent buffs for subsequent attempts. The commander's arsenal also includes unusual tools, such as the Hourglass, which allows the player to undo a failed move. All these mechanics serve a single purpose: uncovering the secrets of the Dragonball and ridding the world of the threat looming over it.
