China Maos legacy is a very unusual strategic simulation game in which emphasis is placed on politics and the social order. China is waiting for you in 1976, the power and heritage of Mao Zedong. In the story, Mao Zedong is already sick and old, and is about to leave his post. But only recently the Cultural Revolution has thundered and the people are eager for change. Very difficult times are coming, and it is now that the fate of the whole People’s Republic of China will be decided.

What is the role for you in all this? Well, it depends on you. Here you can play the decisive and most important role in the fate of the country, influence politics, get close to the people and even become a revolutionary. In general, there are more than enough gaming opportunities.

About This Game

The gameplay itself is quite simple and is based on the basic strategic elements. In this case, before you only a global map of the world and a lot of icons with different symbols, by which you will be guided. You will have to follow a bunch of graphics and diagrams, follow the events that are happening in the country, build a policy, and moreover, you can even lead the party, after which the people will follow.

Of course, we will have to deal not only with politics, but with here stands at the head of everything. What kind of relationship do you want with the Soviet Union? What do you want to achieve from relations with the United States? Which way will you go? You decide! You can fight for leadership with the USSR, become a vassal of the United States, expand your area of influence and become the ruler of all of Asia, or start the Cold War. And most importantly, remember that in China: Mao’s legacy, not only the future of your country, China will depend on your actions, but also what the world will be like in the 20th century.
