Description

Cities Skylines Modern City Center — is a city-building simulator with almost limitless possibilities. Create a city of your dreams, starting with small sleeping areas, ending with huge business centers. In your hands, complete control over the city, tax profitable areas, create new jobs, unite the cities by highways, take advantageous, but not popular solutions for the people. Cities: Skylines is a huge sandbox in which the player is given the opportunity to create the city of his dreams. You have to take into account the smallest details of the city, think through public transport routes, build various plants, take care of water supply, separate industrial areas from sleeping areas, and so on. Cities: Skylines — this is another attempt to create a realistic simulator town planning.

About This Game

Modern City Center, the newest content creator pack for Cities: Skylines from modder Jason «AmiPolizeiFunk» Ditmars, adds 39 unique models featuring new modern commercial wall-to-wall buildings as often found in City Centers. This is the first pack to include semi-transparent glass barriers and awnings, allowing both modders and veteran builders alike to create amazing new cities.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
