Description

The Art of Driving — is a pretty interesting arcade racing game based on physics and low-poly graphics. Here you will find crazy races, steep tracks, a lot of extreme sports and fun. There is no specific plot at the moment in this game, but it is not really needed here, because the developer created this project primarily as a tribute to the classics. Plus, this is essentially a pen test of the author. All that is here is a set of track maps, a variety of cars, and excellent physics. And of course, good, albeit low-poly, graphics.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
