Arma 3 SOG Prairie Fire — the DLC is not developed by Bohemia Interactive, but by third-party developers from Savage Game Design. As the authors of the DLC said, the name S.O.G. Prairie Fire refers to the US Special Forces unit MACV-SOG, which was formed in 1964 to carry out special operations during the Vietnam War. To reliably convey the service of the soldiers of those times, the developers collaborated with veterans of MACV-SOG, as well as Vietnamese advisers. The addition will include a separate map of 300 square kilometers, four factions, and more than 50 types of weapons and equipment.

About This Game

Overview

Within the SOG Prairie Fire players will be able to try out several modes, including cooperative missions for up to 14 people, 9 multiplayer scenarios and 5 single player scenarios. The DLC will also include a new soundtrack featuring blues rock songs and compositions created with Vietnamese musical instruments. SOG Prairie Fire will release as part of the Creator DLC initiative to help third-party developers freely sell their Arma 3 extensions while keeping the game alive with content. The original authors from Bohemia Interactive will be the publisher and will also help the DLC developers conduct a closed beta test in the next two weeks.

Instructions

1. The first thing we do is download the game’s installation files.
2. Mount or burn the ISO image in the disk emulator (UltraISO program).
3. During the installation, we specify the location on the disk where we want to install it.
4. Wait until the installation process is complete, a shortcut will appear on the desktop.
5. Download & install Update v2.04.147719, in game folder.
6. Copy the contents of the folder «CODEX» in the folder with the game.
7. Start the game.
