Description

According to the plot of Project AURA, at the end of the 21st century, mankind will face the same problem as the mammoths 10 thousand years ago — with severe climatic changes. The fragile remnants of civilization are still being saved in cities located on the water. The lack of resources creates a tremendous strain. Scientists have suggested simply to wait for better times with the help of cryopreservation, in other words, freezing. Of course, this service is not available to everyone, only the elite. As you can see, the strategy is not about the war, but about the catastrophe. The goal of the player is to develop one of the colonies of surviving people, train them to interact, develop technologies, and use remnants of past achievements wisely. That is Project AURA is something fresh, as they say, innovative. A really serious topic is being raised here. The strategy is already in early access on the Steam service. Developed by PixelQuality Games.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
