Description

Letters a Written Adventure — the game begins in 1997, when Sarah, an eleven-year-old girl from Switzerland, writes the first letter to Katya, her new correspondence friend from Russia. Through emails and online messengers, they have been in touch for many years. They become good friends and share with each other their dreams, worries and daily life. Sarah story is easily recognizable and still one of a kind. Especially because you choose how it will develop. You take on the role of tiny Sarah, who moves through letters and messages. In this way, you will have to make decisions for her that will affect her life and change the personality of the person she will grow up.

The game world Letters a Written Adventure is populated with pictures of Sarah in letters and images on her computer screen that get in your way. To get past them, you can pick up words from the text and throw them at these characters, which will change accordingly and clear the way. Often there is no corresponding word, so you have to invent your own. After removing a few letters from a word, you can open a new word. For example, you can get the word wing from the word drawing and use it to make a wingless bird finally fly. But be careful when choosing the word picture. All the characters have their own characters and may even represent real people from Sarah’s life. How you interact with them affects the rest of the letter, and sometimes beyond. Letters is a cozy, often funny, sometimes sad game about friendship, growing up and finding your way in life. Explore Sarah’s colorful world and use the power of words to change her life.

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.
