Ikai

Ikai — is a psychological horror game that invites you to experience the aesthetics of Japanese folklore. In this game, many legends and monsters from the famous myths of the Land of the Rising Sun come to life. The gameplay is presented as a first-person action game, where the main character named Ikai is in feudal Japan and is trying to expel the darkness from the temple, where evil spirits began to dwell. The gods left this cursed place long ago, leaving the territory of the temple to demons, monsters and ghosts. The priestess mistakenly summoned creatures from the other world and now she needs to correct the mistakes.

About This Game

To achieve her goal, she must follow two rules keep silent and not utter a word, and paint protective glyphs that can protect her from the forces of evil. Will the protagonist be able to expel the darkness, return the favor of the gods and atone for all her sins. The eerie and mystical story of Ikai plunges into the superstitions of the past and confronts the player with creatures that have frightened people with their images for centuries. The heroine does not use weapons and is not able to confront enemies openly. All you need to rely on is ingenuity, fortitude and attentiveness.
