Description

Lil Horror Stories The Camp Fire — Camp Fire Game is an open-world adventure horror game where you have to go in search of firewood in any order you like to start a campfire. This is the only safe place and checkpoint. You received a voucher for a free trip from the bank. Now you can relax a little and enjoy your vacation in the fresh air. It’s a good thing that boogeymen and monsters don’t exist. Just keep the fire burning all night and they have nothing to worry about. They are drawn to your light. Stay low to be enough. Collect 12 logs. Supports a partial menu controller, still needs to be moved with the mouse. Audio is best played with headphones. Minor flashes, blood, screamers. This is the first story in the Lil Horror Stories series and also my first game release. Inspired by the old Creep Show and Goose Bumps stories.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
