Thank you all for playing Camping Resort Simulator in its first days of Early Access! We've been reading every review, forum post and in-game feedback card, and here's a first small update based on what you told us.

What's new

• See what you're placing. The building preview now shows the real object with its own colours and textures: slightly darker when it fits, tinted red when it doesn't. No more guessing with a flat green shape.
• Lights on while you place them. PAR LEDs, moving heads and ground spotlights are switched on in the preview, so you can see how they light up the scene before you drop them.
• Building while paused. Objects placed while the game was paused stayed smaller until you resumed, and then grew into their neighbours. They now appear at their final size right away.
• Free play no longer opens the Quality map on its own when you pick a lodging. In the campaign it only helps you during Chapter 1.

Camping Resort Simulator is out today in Early Access on Steam, for PC. Thank you for waiting with us.

An empty plot by the sea is waiting for you. Lay the first path, raise a bungalow, open the pool and see who arrives.

🌅 Your first summer starts now

Three chapters, First Summer, The first big night and Festival nights, take you from an empty plot to your first big festival night, when a promoter offers to bring three acts to your campsite. Say yes or turn him down: it's your summer.

Close Chapter 1 and Free play is yours: no goals, no locks, a normal economy or no money limit, and an optional terrain tool to raise, lower, flatten and paint the ground with grass, earth, leaves or sand.

🏖️ What's waiting on the coast

• 25 buildings and ten ways to stay: pitches for tents and caravans, three glamping styles, three bungalows and three villas, the Porch Villa, the Loft Villa and the Balcony Villa, for premium guests.
• A summer by the water: the Pool, the Lagoon Pool with its palm island and the Slide Pool, with two racing slides and a spiral tube.
• A Beach Bar, an Ice Cream Stand, a restaurant, a store, a playground and a tourist train with a route you design yourself.
• Summer nights: films at the Summer Cinema, scheduled night by night, shows and a DJ on the Activity plaza, string lights, lamp posts and colored spotlights.
• 185 decorative pieces: palms, flowers, hedges, low walls, fountains, benches and lamps for every corner.
• Families, couples, young crowds, retirees, backpackers and premium guests. Click anyone and follow their holiday.
• Postcard mode: when you like what you see, press P and keep it as a postcard.
• Eight languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese.

📮 Thank you for the demo

The demo closed on October 26. While it was open you built campsites and wrote to us, and creators shared videos in French, German, Spanish and English. Today's version grew out of all that: the demo's 15 buildings are now 25, the campaign carries on into Festival nights, and Free play opens up the whole coast.

📅 What Early Access means here

We plan to stay in Early Access for 12 to 18 months. The full version will keep expanding the game: more lodging, services and activities for your guests, more decoration and landscaping, deeper statistics and a smarter operations director.
