Description
Contract Cooks is a simulator of working as a chef on temporary contracts, where each new order sends you to a different kitchen with its own rules and challenges. One day you'll have to endure a night shift at a diner, the next you'll be making coffee in the heat, while customers demand cold drinks one after another. The agency evaluates your ability to cope with any work environment, so there's no time to relax. Sometimes you'll be greeted by a clean kitchen, and other times you'll have to deal with the aftermath of the previous chef's departure.
Choose assignments from job boards and accept contracts lasting from three to seven days. Expect morning rushes at office cafes, demanding critics at upscale restaurants, and unexpected challenges can arise in airline kitchens. Initially, the menu is limited to one simple dish, but gradually the preparation becomes more complex. Making coffee involves grinding beans, operating a coffee machine, and frothing milk, while baking requires kneading dough, shaping, proofing, and baking.
You can work alone or with a partner in a cooperative mode: pass ingredients, help each other, and simultaneously prepare the same dish. At the start of each day, you can also choose additional conditions that can make your shift more challenging or easier.
