Railroad Corporation 2 Winter Expedition

Freezing winds howl across the snowy plains as you try to keep your railway empire alive in this massive expansion for Railroad Corporation 2. Game Forge and Thunderful Publishing bring a whole new frozen map where you must build tracks through deep snow and manage a logistics company in brutal winter conditions. You can check the exact system requirements right here on this catalog page while browsing through crisp screenshots and long gameplay videos to see how the snow actually looks. The core setup throws you into a harsh northern territory where laying down rails is only half the battle since you also need to transport new seasonal goods and keep your workers warm.

The real challenge happens in the deep logistics where blizzards actually block your tracks and force you to buy specific snow clearing locomotives to open the way. You have to manage coal and water consumption much more carefully because engines freeze if they stop moving for too long in the cold. The economy shifts to focus on transporting timber and special winter resources which pay out high but require heavy freight trains with multiple cargo cars to be profitable. You can find the absolute latest version of the game and read the actual patch notes right here in our hub to see exactly what the developers fixed regarding train pathfinding in the snow. This expansion adds several new historical locomotives and completely changes how you plan your routes when the temperature drops below zero.
