Torrent Not Downloading: What to Do
A torrent can sit at 0% for a few different reasons. Work through this list in order.
1. DHT is disabled in your client
DHT lets the client find peers without a central tracker. If it is off, you may see no seeds at all. In qBittorrent: Settings → BitTorrent → enable DHT (and PeX / Local Peer Discovery). In uTorrent: Options → Preferences → BitTorrent → enable DHT. Restart the torrent afterwards.
2. The game was released recently
Right after a release there are far more downloaders than seeders. Add the torrent to your client and leave it running — the download starts as soon as a seeder appears.
3. The game is old or niche
Rare releases sometimes have no seeders for days. You can leave the torrent queued overnight, or try a different release of the same game from the catalog. If you do manage to download it, please keep seeding so the chain does not break again.
4. The upload itself is broken
This is rare — uploads are checked — but it happens. Use the Report link button on the game page (or leave a comment) and the upload will be replaced with a working one.
Still nothing?
Try another client (qBittorrent is the most reliable), check that your firewall is not blocking the client, and make sure your disk has enough free space for both the download and the installed game.
