Terra Firma 2

Terra Firma 2 is a simulation in which entire ecosystems emerge organically, from alpine tundra to mangrove forests. Life emerges spontaneously in these generated worlds, where flora and fauna are directly affected by conditions such as humidity, altitude, and temperature. The game offers the opportunity to observe the formation of entire biomes, from arid deserts to dense boreal forests, which evolve in response to the user's actions, creating a unique and vibrant environment. Every change to the landscape triggers a cascade of consequences, transforming bare rock into thriving natural habitats.

The developer of Terra Firma 2 has implemented a complex system of natural forces that allows you not just to build, but to create, setting initial conditions and allowing nature to take its course. At the heart of this simulator is its creator, Gareth Robinson,'s desire to answer the question of why the natural world appears the way it does. The title was conceived as an interactive platform for research experiments, where you can experience, in accelerated mode, processes that would in reality take thousands of years. Thus, the project offers not just a creative experience, but a deep dive into the mechanics of natural phenomena, allowing you to explore the interconnections that shape the appearance of entire planets.
