Description
SALVO is an immersive tactical simulator in which the primary objective is the methodical dismantling of an enemy military machine amid the complete destruction of its central command center. The action takes place within a vast network of underground communications, the last bastion for an autonomous missile program. The visual design, reminiscent of a 1991 army computer terminal, enhances the sense of presence at the center of an asymmetrical confrontation. The facility's operation relies on deep tunnels, providing protection during strikes against the enemy's interconnected system of radars and factories. Information support is provided by Kol Şahar's adaptive radio broadcast, which analyzes and broadcasts the consequences of every decision in real time.
Abandoning the usual genre simplifications in favor of honest physics, projectile flight is transformed into a chain of calculations that take into account atmospheric pressure and engine thrust. The modular weapon assembly principle allows for the creation of specialized weapons from unlocked technologies instead of using pre-made templates.
