Description

The global space strategy Stellaris has acquired the complement of Federations, the main theme of which was diplomacy and everything related to it. This is the fourth major add-on for Stellaris in almost four years of its existence. Federations takes the importance of diplomacy in Stellaris to a new level, we have to negotiate, manipulate allies, entangle enemies, in general, do everything possible and impossible in order to get maximum advantages and benefits for our space state without a single shot. Together with the addon, a galactic senate will appear in the game, in which nations will be able to gather to make decisions on various issues related to peaceful coexistence, as well as new gameplay capabilities such as the construction of a mobile space fleet repair base.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
