Utawarerumono Past and Present Rediscovered brings together the entire epic saga in a single, definitive package. Developed by AQUAPLUS and published by DMM GAMES and Shiravune for release in 2026, this strategy anime adventure RPG sci fi visual novel title collects the critically acclaimed Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth with enhanced visuals, refined gameplay, and all previously released DLC. You follow a masked protagonist who awakens without memories in a war torn fantasy world that hides ancient sci fi secrets. The latest version of the game introduces a gallery mode where you can view all cutscenes, concept art, and listen to the remastered soundtrack.
Strategy combat is turn based on a grid, with deep systems for elemental affinities, combo attacks, and tactical positioning. Visual novel sequences are fully voiced in Japanese with English text, featuring hundreds of hours of story across the trilogy. Anime art has been upscaled to 4K, with redrawn character sprites and dynamic battle animations.
