The game takes place in the universe created for the popular Touhou Project series. This series, launched in 1996, in some way defined the bullet hell shooter genre, which ensured not only its popularity, but also numerous imitations. The position described here is also among the latter. Valkyrie Fantasma embarks on a journey through the fantasy land of Gensokyo. One day, a meteorite falls on her, from which a mysterious light escapes, and, scattering in all directions, it reaches the most powerful inhabitants of Gensokyo.
