This is a survival horror FPS in which a marine is sent into the sewers to investigate the appearance of a cryptid and the disappearance of several homeless people. When you enter the sewers, you soon discover that they are inhabited by huge mutant rats, and now you have to shoot and fight your way through them to get to the surface. RATMAN suffers from some monster pathfinding bugs and a few bumps, but other than that it’s a great little horror game. Like the previous Azaxor cryptid hunting games, it has a very tense atmosphere and the monsters are very creepy. Besides, it’s nice to be able to fight them back this time.
