Songs of the Eons (SotE) — is a post-4X strategic sandbox in which you will influence the fate and evolution of all creatures and the nature of a fantasy planet over the centuries. The game attempts to overcome the stereotypical 4X strategy genre by introducing realistic systems of ecology and economics as the basis for developing societies and the developing world. Also, there is no frantic race against equal opponents in which most 4X strategies force their players to participate.
