War of Velana — a single 16-bit RPG, which combines the study of the world and interaction with a tactical combat system based on orthographic grid. In many ways, War of Velana is the spiritual successor to the Shining Force series on Sega Genesis. Elements of these games are the core and are combined with some design ideas from Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics. In War of Velana, your characters have static classes, and they gain different skills and improve equipment as they progress through the game. In between battles, you will be able to explore the world around you and interact with it. Go on a journey with two hunters, learn the truth about the impending war, help them survive and become legends, and overcome all the troubles that will be in your way.
