Sliding Hero is a puzzle-focused Metroidvania where movement becomes the primary objective: you slide in one direction until you encounter an obstacle, forcing you to strategically consider every move. You play as Luca Sycomoro, a Venetian soldier trapped in a mysterious villa inspired by 1700s Venice and the unsettling aesthetic of carnival masks. The game combines puzzle solving with combat: you use environmental hazards, weapons, and momentum to eliminate enemies and overcome deadly traps using easy-to-learn yet challenging sliding mechanics.
