Space Engineers 2 is an open-world sandbox game that combines elements of engineering, exploration, and space survival. In the uncharted Almagest system, players become pioneers who can build everything from starships to space stations using an advanced 25 cm Single Grid system that eliminates the distinction between large and small grids. The game features increased mobility, with characters reaching speeds of up to 310 m/s, and built-in safety features like magbots and automatic jetpack activation prevent accidental falls.

The game runs on the new VRAGE3 engine, which delivers improved performance and next-level visuals, including ray-traced global illumination and tesselated voxel materials. A redesigned user interface makes building more intuitive, with features like Grid Undo and precise CTRL controls for rotation and scaling. The gameplay mechanics have been refined based on decades of development experience, offering both veterans and newcomers alike an engaging sandbox experience with unprecedented creative freedom.

Instructions

1. The first thing we do is download the game files.
2. Unzip the archive to the hard disk. (how to unzip .rar)
3. Wait for the unpacking process to finish.
4. Install: windowsdesktop-runtime-8.0.12-win-x64.exe.
4. Start the game «SpaceEngineers2.exe» from Game2 folder.
5. The language changes in the menu.

Doesn't work for me. Every time i want to Start it says : "Save of the World was not found and could not be loaded!"

If you encounter the error "Save of the World was not found and could not be loaded!" while launching Space Engineers 2, it may indicate missing or corrupted game save files. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Verify Game File Integrity
  • Open Steam and go to your game Library.
  • Find Space Engineers 2, right-click on it, and select Properties.
  • In the Local Files tab, click Verify integrity of game files.
  • Steam will automatically detect and restore any missing or corrupted files.
2. Restore from Backup
  • The game automatically creates backup save files.
  • Navigate to the save folder:
    C:\Users\{Your Username}\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\.
  • Locate the folder containing your save file and open it.
  • Inside, you should see subfolders like Backup. Open one of them and copy the files to the main save folder, replacing any existing files.
3. Delete Corrupted Configuration Files
  • Sometimes, corrupted configuration files cause issues with loading worlds.
  • Navigate to:
    C:\Users\{Your Username}\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\.
  • Delete the file SpaceEngineers.cfg.
  • Restart the game so it can generate a fresh configuration file.
