Build, craft, defend: three words, one job. Lorne is a survival adventure from Lorne Studios, which develops and publishes the game, and it puts you in charge of the defense of a village. Attackers come in waves, the walls are yours to raise, and the pace is deliberately yours to set. The game's own promise is the mood: no pressure. The village remembers who defended it.

Every structure starts with exploration. You gather materials out in the world of Lorne and bring them home to craft and build, raising your own home piece by piece. The map gives, but only to those who walk it. The loop is honest: go out, collect, return, and turn the haul into something that stands. What you build is exactly what you explored for.

The world pays explorers back in secrets. Hidden artifacts wait across the map, and each one unlocks new powers and technologies for the village and for you. Some artifacts change the village, and some change you. Upgrading your abilities with soul fragments keeps the character growing alongside the walls. Exploration is not a break from the defense; it is how the defense improves.

When the waves arrive, you meet them with hack and slash combat at the gates. The attackers keep coming, and your job is to keep improving faster than they do, reinforcing the bastion and holding the line. Each wave teaches the layout of your weakest wall. At the center of it all sits the Powercore, and keeping it safe is worth whatever it costs.
