About The Game

Dry Drowning — is a visual novel and detective cyberpunk adventure game. The game is the result of several years of work by Italian developers from the V Studio team. During the game, we follow the fate of the discredited private detective Mordred Foley, who, together with his assistant, investigates a series of murders inspired by Greek myths. To catch the killer, the protagonist has to face not only the grim reality of cyberpunk dystopia, but also his past. Dry Drowning is a typical visual novel in many ways. We spend most of our time talking, through which we learn more about the characters we meet and the events taking place in New Polemos.

Thus, we learn about history, but also make important decisions. They have a significant impact on the plot, taking us from over 150 tracks and ultimately to one of three endings. An interesting fact is the «Living Nightmares» system, which sometimes appears during interrogations. The person we push is given an animal mask, and our task is to make him throw off the facade and reveal the truth. Here you will find useful information and evidence that you gathered before taking your testimony. Note that in each case we only have three tries and failure means the end of the game. The development studio used the Unity engine to create their own vision of a futuristic city. Most of the graphics are static, two-dimensional charts and symbols, but the authors tried to enrich them with additional effects. The cyberpunk noir atmosphere is also created by the soundtrack of 50 pieces of music.

How to Install
