Play as the thief Locke, who, after receiving a mysterious message in his head, sets out on an adventure to betray his old comrades. These comrades, members of his Snix tribe, originally betrayed the tribe and plan to work with an enemy tribe, the Soldiers, and steal a source of magical energy, the Unrealistic, which would give them absolute power over Slabland. Lox, loyal to the Code of Secrecy, wants no part of it, and is tasked with defeating his former partners, disrupting their extreme conspiracy and foiling their evil plans.
