Roadwarden — RPG shouldn’t focus on combat, shouldn’t even contain it, and the intriguing text-based RPG Roadwarden is another example of this. In it you play as a kind of highway defender, protecting the roads from hostile creatures and the resurrected dead. It’s a fantasy world brought to life with pixel art, but mostly with convoluted storytelling and dialogue. There are quests, lots of possibilities, and easy survival elements.
