Be Missed and Remembered The Letter from Mayoiga is a visual novel in which Japanese folklore is combined with the nostalgic atmosphere of the 1970s. You play as a high school student who, in the summer of 1972, comes to the village to live with his grandparents, where a local legend warns that one should not enter the cursed mountains. Despite the fact that the main character does not attach importance to these superstitions, he goes to the old sanctuary hidden in the lake and meets there a person who for some reason seems familiar to him although the memories of their first meeting have disappeared, which is a mysterious effect of Mayoig itself (The Lost House).
