Empire of the Ants is a strategy game that immerses players in the microscopic world of insect warfare. As the 103,683rd ant warrior, you will explore, conquer, and defend your Federation’s territories. The game combines tactical combat with strategic decision-making. Players can choose from different ant legions, each with unique abilities. You will upgrade your nest, build outposts, and use special pheromone-based abilities to outwit your opponents. The game offers both a 20-hour single-player campaign based on the novels of Bernard Werber, and cross-platform multiplayer modes, including 1v1 ranked matches and free-for-all battles. With a combination of resource management, unit upgrades, and alliances with the local fauna, Empire of the Ants offers a fresh take on the strategy genre in an unconventional setting.

Ex-specialists of Creative Assembly, gathered under the banner of the Tower Five studio, recently announced the release of their debut project, Lornsword Winter Chronicle, on Steam Early Access. This is a mixture of strategy and action — of course, in fantasy scenery. In the earlier version, only the prologue and the first chapter are available. The second and third will appear before the end of the year, then the project will come to PS4 and Xbox One. One of its features is a «coop» for two participants. In fairness, we note that the Tower Five leadership did not work on the «big» Total War — only on Total War Battles: Kingdom and Total War Battles: Shogun. The soundtrack for the game was composed by the Hungarian composer Thomas Adam Habuda (Heroes of Newerth).
