Divine Frequency is a tense and atmospheric game on the DOOM engine, it has many elements of survival horror and action RPG in the style of Dark Souls, which make the gameplay much deeper. These include NPCs to talk to, side quests, XP, leveling up, weapon upgrades, and other cool features. In fact, the game has more in common with the games it’s inspired by Bloodborne, Blood, System Shock 2 and Darkest Dungeon than id Software’s classic FPS — you’ll have to think tactically and use the environment to your advantage instead of just shooting everything, which is moving. The previous version of Divine Frequency contained the early stages of the game, while the current version contains a large stretch from the middle of the game. While the previous version was fairly linear, this one features a large, sprawling, interconnected area filled with secrets to discover and optional side areas.

The Grainwind Incident 77 — is a scary horror in which you have to investigate an abandoned factory where several terrible accidents happened. This is a non-linear first-person horror game in which you discover a mysterious video tape that contains footage of an abandoned Soviet-era factory. In the game, you explore the factory and learn its dark history with poor working conditions and terrible accidents. Along the way, you might even meet a few ghosts from the past. There are a few screamers in the game that might raise questions, but otherwise, The Grainwind Incident 77 is a fantastic horror movie shot on video. The detailed environment and VHS filter create a very realistic feeling of urban atmosphere. At the same time, the sound design is excellent and really creates a tense and foreboding atmosphere. Highly recommended.

RATMAN — is a short and intense survival horror FPS game where you explore a sewer infested with giant mutant rats. This is a survival horror FPS in which a marine is sent into the sewers to investigate the appearance of a cryptid and the disappearance of several homeless people. When you enter the sewers, you soon discover that they are inhabited by huge mutant rats, and now you have to shoot and fight your way through them to get to the surface. RATMAN suffers from some monster pathfinding bugs and a few bumps, but other than that it’s a great little horror game. Like the previous Azaxor cryptid hunting games, it has a very tense atmosphere and the monsters are very creepy. Besides, it’s nice to be able to fight them back this time.

MiniDoom 2 is a great platformer based on the legendary Doom. Here you have the same Mars, where the gates to Hell opened, and monsters attacking from all sides, and bloodthirsty mutants, and demons, and an extensive arsenal of weapons, and much more. Naturally, as you probably already guessed, the game is presented in the form of a two-dimensional classic retro platformer. At the same time, the graphics correspond to the present bright colors, quite acceptable animation and difficult physics make this game unique in all directions. But this is not the point. The main thing here is the atmosphere — and it is here as crazy as in the original game.
