Balance
Boss health has been adjusted to values that make more sense. Previously, the forest boss had the most health despite being a caster. Now its health has been reduced, and the cave / dungeon bosses have had their health increased since they are melee based.
Slowed down the dungeon zombie’s kick, which was very difficult to parry before.

Polish
Audio polish on all enemy footsteps in the game. Enemy footsteps now sync to their audio correctly, and are much louder than before, so it’s easier to hear enemies coming up behind you.
Wraiths have new audio to give fair warning for when they approach from behind
Audio polish on all enemy projectiles so it’s easier to hear them coming
Enemies play their aggro sounds consistently now when initially aggroing and before attacking, so there is always feedback if they are actively in combat with you
Adjusted wording of many tutorials and abilities to have more consistent and clear language.
Made the Maw of Sin entrance portal much larger and more distinct, so it’s harder to miss.

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug with the unlock / quest notification UI where the first time it appeared it wouldn’t show the icon properly

Camera Shake Added – Hits now trigger screenshake based on their strength. This includes melee attacks, gunfire, magic staves, damage taken, and certain class abilities. You can disable it in settings—if you really want to ruin my day—but it massively improves the feel of combat.
Spell Recoil – Some spells now cause minor knockback and screenshake on cast, adding punch and weight to your magic.
New Enemy: Observer – The big red-headed freak from portal rooms and Maw of Sin is now a floor hazard across all main areas. Most common in the cave, where trap density was previously low.
Berserker Charge Buff – Using the Charge ability outside of the Whirlwind combo now halves its cooldown (6s instead of 12s), giving Berserker more flexible and responsive options.
New Berserker Combo: Ragespike – After using an ability, attacking immediately will perform a powerful charge thrust with an animation cancel. It’s a huge boost to non-Whirlwind playstyles and opens up a faster, more aggressive flow.
More Slow Motion – Added slow mo effects to certain class abilities, explosions, and enemy kills to boost dramatic impact.
Final Kill Slow Mo – Killing the last enemy in floor plate arenas, mid-area fights, or boss arenas now triggers a deeper, more cinematic slow motion. The intensity scales by encounter type.
Global Slow Motion Speed Tweaked – Base slow mo speed raised from 0.1x to 0.35x. Combined with more frequent usage, this keeps pacing punchy and smooth while still feeling dramatic.
Audio Variety – Added variation to one of the common hit sounds for weapons.
Red Floor Guides Improved – Red directional lines are now much clearer, especially in Realistic visuals mode.
New Intro Animation – Every time you launch the game, you’ll awaken through a stylized eye-opening effect. Flavorful. Sinful.
