Driftwood is an unusual longboarding simulator where you have to ride along picturesque mountain slopes... in the skin of a sloth. ​Yes, ​you ​haven’t ​heard ​— ​the main ​he ​here ​is not ​something ​inveterate ​syoρfeρ, ​but ​the mellow ​Eddie, ​who, ​apparently ​like ​its kind, ​loves ​adρenaline ​and ​speed. ​Low-poly graphics, ​resembling ​stylized ​layouts, ​and ​pastel ​tones ​create ​a ​cozy, ​almost ​meditative ​atmosphere, ​but ​don't ​let ​yourself ​fool: ​management ​board ​treb ​precisely, ​especially ​in ​κρyx ​visages.

Gameplay ​is ​constantly ​on ​balance ​between ​Kontol ​and ​Pisk. ​Lean ​forward  ​and ​there ​you ​are ​already ​rushing ​down, ​two ​managing ​to ​dodge ​cars ​lean ​back  ​and ​steam ​falls, ​but ​turns ​are ​made ​easier. ​Drift ​here ​is ​not ​just ​a ​mechanical ​technique, ​but ​art: ​a ​correctly ​calculated ​skid ​brings ​points ​and ​opens ​the ​path ​to ​hidden ​routes. ​and ​you ​can ​collect ​leaves ​and ​scare ​drivers, ​running ​in ​centimeters ​from ​their ​bumpers ​bonuses ​are ​awarded ​for ​this ​also. ​Driftwood ​doesn't ​try ​to ​be ​a ​realistic ​skate ​simulator ​in ​which ​Skate ​is ​a ​skating ​experience ​with ​rhythm ​and ​movement, ​where ​each ​trace ​is ​like ​a ​musical ​trace ​with ​smooth ​passages ​and ​unexpected ​pauses.

Unlocking ​new ​docos, ​wood ​and ​even ​clothes ​for ​Eddie ​adds ​individuality to ​his ​daily ​tests ​and ​tables of ​ρeκορροοο are getting ready ​at the same time. ​if ​you ​like ​the ​feeling ​of ​flow, ​when ​time ​slows down, ​and ​your ​fingers ​know ​when ​to ​press ​the ​button, ​this ​game ​will ​give ​hours ​of ​relaxing, ​but ​in ​places ​tense ​skating.
