Godslayer Arena is a roguelike structure that incorporates autobattler mechanics along with action RPG elements. Fights occur automatically once the initial preparations are completed. The player's success depends on understanding the combinations between the selected charms, gems, and artifacts. The task is to skillfully use the game systems of the project to create a configuration that provides superiority. The core gameplay in Godslayer Arena is based on the selection of charms for their synergy and determining their positions on the field to achieve the desired effects.

When the battle begins, the gamer loses direct control the outcome of the skirmishes is determined by the characteristics of the assembled configuration. This title is a strategic task, focusing on charm combinations that are distinguished by complexity and depth. Each run tests the knowledge of the fundamental aspects of this roguelike.

Before each battle, it is proposed to purchase magic through the store, and then choose: to upgrade goods or accumulate experience. Gaining experience increases the shop level, increasing the chance of finding advanced enchantments. These are imbued with special properties; using a certain number of unique enchantments with the same property triggers special actions, while three of the same type transform into a stronger version. Enchantments work from left to right, making their placement essential as they combine to adjust the number of projectiles, increase the area of ​​effect, or change the mana cost.
