Blast Rush LS is an action shooter from indie developer Bipedal Dog that prioritizes explosive chaos over traditional weapon systems. The game puts you in control of a damaged ship escaping from an enemy ship that is about to explode, armed with an endless arsenal of screen-clearing bombs instead of traditional guns. You'll pilot one of three different fighters, each equipped with nine different types of bombs and special abilities like devastating sideways rolls and slow-motion Hyperdodges.

The core gameplay involves surviving 40 increasingly difficult levels filled with massive swarms of drones, where strategic use of bombs will be your main tool for survival. To increase the difficulty, the game features randomized Endurance and 2-Minute modes that will test your skills in a variety of environments. Blast Rush LS features four unique mini-challenges, including time trials, dark combat scenarios, maze navigation and ship launching competitions.

The game features crisp 16-bit pixel art and a punchy chiptune soundtrack that perfectly complements the frantic action. Additional content includes a Library section with developer notes, concept art and a music player, as well as the full version of the original Blast Rush as a bonus. This indie shooter successfully reimagines the bullet hell formula, asking the question "what if you had too many bombs?" and delivers exactly that explosive experience.
