Cleared Hot is an indie helicopter shooter that blends nostalgic arcade combat with physical chaos. As a pilot, you'll control attack helicopters in a single-player campaign, taking you through deserts, jungles, and arctic environments in day and night operations. The game's signature feature is a zipline and magnet system that allows you to grab and use virtually anything redirect incoming missiles, hurl boulders at enemies, lift tanks into battle, or snatch enemies and drop them to their deaths. You'll manage squad tactics, delivering soldiers to capture territory or defend a base while juggling mission objectives.

Eight different helicopters are available in the game, each customizable to suit your playstyle. Combat feels weighty and responsive thanks to ragdoll physics, which send enemies flying from missile explosions and environmental interactions. Enemy diversity includes tanks, jeeps, anti-aircraft turrets, boats, and fighter jets all controlled by the same physics system that encourages creative problem-solving. The gameplay encourages experimentation whether it's using debris as improvised projectiles or orchestrating absurd combat scenarios using your lifting capabilities.
