Capy Castaway v1.0 (upd.09.08.2026)

A flood, a lost family and one very determined baby capybara. Capy Castaway is a touching puzzle adventure from Kitten Cup Studio, published by Big Blue Sky Games, where the journey home begins on a mysterious island.

The little hero wakes up stranded among lost belongings and wandering spirits, far from his family enclosure. His unexpected ally is Corvi, a caustic crow with opinions about everything. Together they decide to find the way back home, and the rescue mission grows along the way, because other stranded animals need help before this island gives up its guests. The partnership starts sharp and softens into something better.

Control is shared between both partners, and the game supports solo play as well as two players on the same screen. Each character has abilities that unfold as you explore. The crow carries useful items to hard to reach places, while the capybara digs up caches and crosses bodies of water no bird could manage alone. Spatial puzzles are built around that teamwork, and solving them takes coordination rather than speed.

The tone stays warm from start to finish. The locations carry the nostalgic atmosphere of a Canadian metropolis, the heroes can try on ridiculous citrus hats purely for fun, and local inhabitants in distress keep appearing along the route. Under the rescue mission runs a bigger thread. The storm shook the balance between the natural world and otherworldly forces, and restoring it becomes part of the journey.

Decisions made along the way directly impact the plot, leading to several alternative endings. Kitten Cup Studio designed the project as a relaxing experience for family play or a gentle first step into the genre, where kindness is the main mechanic and the crow gets the better lines. Every rescued animal makes the road home feel a little shorter.
