About The Game
Outbuddies — is a side-view adventure action platformer in a sci-fi setting. You have to explore Bahlam, the sunken fortress of the Old Gods, located deep in the southern Atlantic Ocean. After the shipwreck, the marine archaeologist and adventurer Nikolai Bernstein regains consciousness at a depth of 36,000 feet under water. He is seriously wounded and in search of answers the main character sinks into the depths of a lost city, gradually realizing the ominous presence of unknown creatures.

The unusual Outbuddies metro line in the spirit of Celeste, which was developed by just one person for several years. Its creator does not hesitate to call the ideological inspiration of Outbuddies, which became: Super Metroid, Castlevania, Super Mario Bros. and Mega Man.
Outbuddies tells the story of the marine archaeologist Nikolai Bershtein, who crashed and woke up at a depth of 11,000 kilometers in the sunken city of the Old Gods. Nevertheless, the hero does not die, but on the contrary — he feels more alive than all the living ones, and still receives a companion drone. Together they go to study a living, open world, made in the best traditions of pixel graphics. All this happens under the cool 16-bit soundtrack from OGRE. Outbuddies players are waiting for amazing boss battles and even a local co-op.
