In Shutter 2, you take control of RC2, the worlds most powerful remote spectral surveillance tool, and piece together the pieces of a terrifying story. Defeat and photograph the fallen spirits that inhabit the Kent Island prison, cash in on evidence and upgrade your RC2 defense systems. By creating pictures proving the presence of evil spirits in the prison, you can earn, and then completely acquire improvements for the device, which will allow you to come into even closer contact with ghosts.

Your task is to find out what actually happened within the walls of the prison. Additionally, you need to track down opponents, ghosts and evil spirits, photograph them and shoot them on camera in order to have something to show as evidence of the presence of otherworldly forces, and survive.

Instructions

1. The first thing we do is download the game’s installation files.

Shutter 2 - The Depths unearths an evil older than the prison itself and plunges the player further down the void than ever before.

Additions with this update:

A new enemy type that requires new tactics to deepen combat
Two brand new areas with new puzzles and mechanics
Weapons and combat balancing for the Standard / Casual game modes
Enemies have been re-imagined in both design and AI for a more balanced / weighted combat experience
Texture and lighting overhaul to many areas
Enhanced models and textures for characters

Update v20210827:
Player's inventory and mini-map now show players exact location and direction facing (previously was just a static map showing what room you were in) while in the the prison.
Map will now open to current floor and an Icon will be placed beside the level that the player is currently on while navigating maps
Destroyed RC is now given an exact location when retrieving it
Some areas have expanded hallways and altered layout to match the new map
Detail and texture pass on some areas
Various minor bug fixes and UX improvements

New details have been added to almost every scene in the game.
Some areas have been expanded upon, creating new environments and in some areas expanding on how puzzles are approached.
Textures have been updated and overhauled in many areas for a richer atmosphere
New particle effects added in many areas.
Other small bug fixes and quality of life changes for a better user experience.

Opening tutorial has been overhauled and spaced out to provide information on a more contextual basis.
Special items now have been given an X-ray overlay when player is close, making them easier to locate in dark / obstructed areas
Small visual updates to some environments

Update v20210707:
Streamlined process for photographs taken in game so that only photos with evidence get added to your inventory. Random photos are automatically discarded. (this helps keep the inventory from filling up too quickly)
Player is now prompted automatically when a valuable photograph has been added to the inventory
Important puzzle photos are now given a visual highlight to help players locate them easier.
Improvements made to UX controls for ease of interaction with objects.

Difficulty settings have been balanced
Added a new "normal" difficulty setting as well as a "hard" difficulty setting.
