Against the Storm — Eremite Games is entering the Digital Dragons Indie Showcase to showcase its roguelite city planner Against the Storm. In parallel with the release of the demo, the first trailer of the gameplay will be released. Set in a world where the rain never stops, Against the Storm takes players on a roguelite city-building fantasy adventure. The city is inhabited by lizards, beavers and people. All of them are the last species to survive the harsh and merciless conditions of continuous rain. The players have one task to manage the various needs of the inhabitants of the city, while satisfying the queen.

Overview

The main features of the full game will focus on the core of city building, which is enhanced with roguelite replay elements. There are three rainy seasons that force you to constantly change your strategy. All three city races have different needs and skill sets that the player will need to complete and use to be successful. As the city builds and grows, long-forgotten technologies can be discovered and introduced that will change the way the game is played.

Hotfix 0.44.3 (Infected Mole, Sahilda)
Fixed an issue with Cysts removed by destroying buildings not lowering Hostility (when solving the Infected Mole event).
Fixed a bug with incorrect consequences being applied when attacking Sahilda.
Fixed a bug with the Stormforged version of the Improvised Tools Cornerstone not working when bought during the Storm.
Fixed an issue with some buttons in the Training Expedition panel not being translated into languages other than English.
Fixed multiple typos (incorrectly interpreted "\n" marklings) in the Simplified Chinese version of the game.

Hotfix 0.64.5 (Obsidian Archive 5, Continue settlement)
We just released a hotfix with a couple of fixes addressing the issues you've reported:
Fixed a bug where continuing a settlement after a victory would cause the camera to stop moving.
Fixed a bug where the Obsidian Archive level 5 upgrade was giving the blueprint reroll reward twice.
Fixed a bug where the resource tooltip footer was displaying a {0} parameter instead of a keybinding.
Fixed a bug where the resource tooltip footer was incorrectly displayed in the tutorial.
Fixed an issue with a missing space before the keybinding on the Reset button in the recipe panel.
Fixed a bug where the background blend was too small for some confirmation popups.

Queen’s Hand Trials
The 1.0 Update features the Queen’s Hand Trials – an ironman mode in which you start from scratch and have one Cycle to reforge the Adamantine Seal – the game's most challenging endeavor. Those who emerge victorious will be awarded the title of Queen's Hand and will be granted a rare audience with the Scorched Queen herself.
