The game once again revolves around a space bounty hunter named Samus Aran. But this time everything starts to happen at the very moment when the mysterious message from the planet ZDR arrives to the Galactic Federation. that is where she will have to go now. Well, there she will already have adventures, battles, numerous bosses, and strange creepy enemies representing a new race of deadly machines.

The gameplay as a whole has practically not changed in comparison with previous games in the series, but at the same time it offers even more exciting battles and dozens of new abilities that the main character can use. At the same time, the main mechanics remained in place. That is, you will again have to explore numerous two-dimensional locations, fight various enemies, solve difficult tasks related to interacting with the environment, and more. Like other games in the genre, this one also has numerous locations full of secrets. Moreover, many of them also have hidden places that you simply won’t get to in the beginning. In order to open up new paths and places, you will have to pump certain abilities, such as clinging to steep hills and soaring.

There are a lot of skills and abilities that can be pumped in the course of the game, and there is nothing superfluous among them. All, without exception, will come in handy during the passage, and especially in the fight against bosses. Boss battles in Metroid Dread are now much more difficult. The developers have reworked both the combat system and the bosses themselves, and now each new enemy will test you to the fullest, forcing you to use all possible combat resources.
