Slayblade Build 24835300 (upd.21.08.2026) - TENOKE

Slayblade is a run based battle tops game from Henry's House and Oscar Brittain, the creators of Nanomon Virtual Pet, Kardboard Kings, and Desert Child.

The loop is simple and snappy. Players battle their blade with simple, satisfying controls, then spend the cash they won on new parts, and finally hunt for insane combos with everything they unlock.

The whole game can be played with a mouse and a left click. Battles take place on street corners in a miniature PS1 style city, framed by colourful lo-fi visuals and hand drawn character art.

Customization is the heart of the experience. Over sixty blade parts are available to collect, and the way they combine decides how each run plays out. The right parts turn a normal spin into a combo machine.

The mood is pure early 2000s. Spinning tops on a street corner, a betting side game for lunch money, a whole city to wander, and a soundtrack that locks the era in place.

There is no big story mode. A brief intro and outro cutscene frame the action, and the real narrative is the grind: build, battle, bet, unlock, and build again.

Players can break the law with their blade, visit the miniature city with their blade, and eventually save that city from a rich loser with their blade. The stakes stay light and the tone stays playful throughout.

Each battle is short, which makes the loop easy to pick up and hard to put down. A lost spin costs only a little cash, while a great combo can fund a whole new build.

Replay value comes from the parts. Each new piece changes how a spin behaves, and chasing the best combination keeps one more run feeling worth it.

Released on August 20, 2026, Slayblade keeps its scope tight: simple controls, deep combos, and a lo-fi world that rewards experimentation over mastery of complex systems.
