The Phantom is an arcade beat-em-up developed by Art Of Play Interactive, featuring the first costumed comic book hero on Steam. Players can choose between the Phantom and Diana Palmer as they battle through 14 levels against the pirates of the Singh Brotherhood. Combat features both melee and gun-based combat, and can be aided by animal companions — Fraka the falcon and Devil the wolf. The game features an all-new canonical story approved by King Features, told through full-screen cutscenes with hand-drawn illustrations from the comic book artists. The action-adventure features frame-by-frame animation by Art Of Play’s creative team in 2D, making the game visually distinctive and staying true to the character’s legacy.
